Hewlett Beach in the Town of Hempstead is a quick 1.5 mile paddle from the Keystone Yacht Club.

Hewlett Point Park is located in East Rockaway, in the Town of Hempstead, and is open seasonally. If you are looking for a family-oriented, relaxing atmosphere, Hewlett Point Park is the perfect destination for you, your family and friends. Indeed, family passes are available, which get you in from Memorial Day to Labor Day.

The park is well-maintained and well equipped with picnic areas, a playground, concession stands and vending machines for those who don't have time to pack up a snack.
Once you are done sunbathing by the pool, or swimming, you can enjoy some of the park's recreational activities, which include basketball courts, tennis courts, a pool, and playgrounds.

If you are looking to explore the area and go on a more educational tour, you can always head over to the East Rockaway Grist Mill Museum in Memorial Park, where admission is free.
